About

I build AI systems for stock selection and portfolio management. Most of my time goes towards API calls on millions of unstructured documents, agentic workflows, fine-tuning LLMs, evals, and more. I am an associate portfolio manager investing in equities at Norges Bank Investment Management in New York, where I'm part of a small team managing a USD700bn portfolio.

Before this, I studied computer science at NTNU (M.Sc., AI specialization) and spent a year studying AI at Harvard, cross-registering at MIT for machine learning. At Harvard I was in the inaugural member class of the AI Student Safety Team, which got me into alignment research.

I'm interested in what it takes to make LLMs work in production, what happens when you give agents real autonomy, and how you actually evaluate whether any of it is working.

I'm also building Argo, an autonomous AI alignment research agent, currently interested in all sorts of empirical alignment research and publishing what I learn on this site.
